At its February 11th meeting, the Waikiki Neighborhood Board adopted a resolution supporting the Waikiki Safe Ohana Safe Streets Audit recommendations, urging the Mayor to implement these recommendations. This resolution also supports continued collaboration between Waikiki Community Center, Rotary Club of Waikiki, AARP volunteers, and the City and County Department of Facilities Maintenance’s Malama-o-Ka’aina volunteer program to patch hazardous cracks and holes in Waikiki’s sidewalks.
