Let’s be prepared for HURRICANE DOUGLAS. Here’s the update from the Central Pacific Hurricane Center:
The Central Pacific Hurricane Center said Hurricane Douglas continues to maintain its intensity as Category 1 Hurricane with 90 mph winds about 235 miles east of Honolulu at 5 am today. Attaching new information on emergency shelters should you need one. Note that the closest shelter if necessary is the Convention Center at 1801 Kalakaua Avenue. Masks are required for entry.
